Sand Rail Games In The Wood

daily Watercolor - Angelo Branduardi

recently spoke Franco Battiato, Italian singer / songwriter well known in Spain. And since I did the post I started reescuchar of his music which, coincidentally, I store along with other lesser-known Italian singers. And one of them is a genius named Angelo Branduardi , well known in Italy (in Spain very little), that came to me by the hand of my wife Marta, whom her friend Luisa (high rider) he showed in his day, and that in turn had inherited it from her sisters, and so up to Kevin Bacon in 6 steps . The first song I knew it was " If puo fare" ("can do" ), a small wonder and very catchy.

Branduardi Cuggiono was born in 1950, and raised in Genoa. From a very early showed a penchant for music, so that their parents I enrolled in the local conservatory, where at 15 he made his debut as soloist in the orchestra of the same. Had to move on the guitar by physical problems with the violin, and studied at the Faculty of Philosophy of Milan. There he composed his first songs based on texts and poems by authors they like, as the famous " Confessioni di un malandrino" based on texts Esenin , the Russian poet. Take the opportunity to travel by hitchhiking through France, meeting other authors who befriended, and a love of France which is then reflected in the publication record sung in French, and in the many awards he has received in our country neighbor (including the prize for best French-language album "very important and critical acclaim in France). He has also released records in England and Germany, receiving several awards in both countries.

In 1974 he published his first album titled with your name, and it is a virtuoso on several instruments. It also has a particular interest in including forgotten instruments, ancient or exotic in their songs. Over the years he has published a number of albums, has composed soundtracks (even won the equivalent of Goya English at home), and has risked reviving XIV century music, instruments like the lute and poets like Yeats . In 93 published the disc's title to the song you said before, "S i puo fare," which is a major critical and commercial success.

watercolor on: it was very easy to choose what image to paint the good of Angelo. Those hairs that leads from his youth (now more recortaditos, but still with a similar hairstyle, but grayed) can "cut loose" also watercolorist. So I've got all kinds of colors while retaining a dark intonation, has not had a lot of mystery.

I leave you with a video of " The Moon" , another marvel of Angelo Branduardi.

daily Watercolor - Landscape?

These days I come to do watercolors, to see if you ever get to do something half decent with it. In this case it was testing a reduced palette of tertiary colors and earthy, and trying something impossible to change your primary for three colors (in my case, change the yellow ocher, ultramarine blue + gray Payne by blue and burnt sienna and red.)

For the moment, a riddle to which pucelano ... guess what place is this watercolor, stays with her.

Pay Rates Macdonalds 18 Year Old

seen lately - Piet Mondrian

Piet Mondrian is one of the artists whose images are universally acknowledged, and leading exponent of Neo. His paintings have been the subject of design for clothing, buildings, vehicles, and everything you can imagine. But Mondrian was initially a realist to reach that pure abstraction in the last 30 years of his career.

Pieter Cornelis Mondriaan Amersvoort born in 1872 (Holland), son of a headmaster who was painting in an amateur way that used to accompany your child to draw from life in the field and can thus guide their first steps into the picture . His uncle Frits was also a self-taught painter of some success in some circles, and gave him his first lessons on painting. It seems that later after moving to Paris in 1911 had some type of disagreement about the painting, which brought the young man Pieter to reduce its name to Mondrian (why your work is not confused with his uncle ?).
Piet studied to master drawing, but come time to get to teach decided to become an artist. His father could not afford their studies, but his uncle Frits gave him a hand. Fine Arts got its first orders, and soon began experimenting with abstraction in his first exhibition. And got recognition of his fellow artists, but not the critics ("this man is totally confused," wrote one).
in 1909 gives a radical change in his life. Christianity leaves to join a theosophical society founded by Mme. Blavatsky, and begins meditation practices and adopt a lifestyle close to the "hippie." Start your search so the balance of the vertical and horizontal in his painting, in line with their Theosophical beliefs. Years later, will give a new twist existential countryside changing their preferences with those of a perfect city dweller, and the photos of the day you can see and no beard, and wearing ties perfectly.
In 1911 he settled in Paris frequenting most renowned artists of the moment (including the Cubist Picasso , Braque and Gris ). Absorbs some of his teachings, but the end is to combine painting with their thoughts and philosophy. Make several exhibitions, selling several works abroad, but in Paris the thing does not happen so well and lives badly making copies of famous paintings from the Louvre.
In 1914 the First World War broke out that he catches in the Netherlands visiting his father on his deathbed. You have to stay at home until the end of the war, joining in the group "De Stijl (" style) looking for a new society through art, to put man in harmony with the laws of the universe. Today this group is considered the base of Neo that commented earlier. In fact Mondrian wrote a manifesto on the Neo on his return to Paris in 1919. Later
traveled to London and ended his days in New York (1944), with some public recognition, but with little economic success.

posting the work ("Grey Tree" - 1912) is part of a series of three paintings (" Red Tree", " blue tree" and the one you see) which is considered the barrier between and early cubist works, which would become the neo. This tree has always impressed me a lot because an artist like Mondrian who was an expert draftsman, began to evolve into something more surreal but retains all its properties, and very far yet the total abstraction of his later years. Each space between the branches of the table makes an interesting similarity to Cubism, including the color palette used. Small wonder ...

How Much Is A Gold Plated Desert Eagle

Pencil - Watercolor

Well, it seems to have started the 2011 field season. 5 hours yesterday Pisuerga watercolor, and today a couple of hours drawing a newly planted magnolia tree.

initially wanted to do a drawing to Sarah Simblet , but as I was finishing its phase I (the amount seems to lie with the magnolia leaves), the wind moved it gave me the impression that actually had more a tree in their leaves closer. Further away did not move, but they were in first, second and third plane seemed to successive floors. So I drew it ... In the picture is not seen, things art (graffiti reflects light, and there is no way to get a decent picture).

Kimono Robe From Titanic

magnolia Daily - Franco Battiato

When I posted a watercolor on Nijinska and made a reference to a song by Franco Battiato has been covered a thousand times (and he has sung in many languages) "Prospettiva Nevsky." This song I first heard early twenties and since then has always accompanied me in each "walkman", "MP3", "iPod", "iPhone" and car I've ever had. Come on, that I have always been listening. Not only do I find a lovely melody, but the lyrics are very evocative of time post-Russian revolution, and life in Moscow. In fact, in a list of those that are usually listed as one of the best songs of the last century.

Battiato is an icon in Italy, because he has sold everything that could be sold and a little more at home. Also in Spain worked very well for 20 years, and in the UK also had his moment. Even his songs, as "Ruby Tuesday " (well, his versions of famous songs) are in movies. In return, a lot of people have done versions of his songs, like this one Coppini Germain their "permanent gravitates Centro di " (a Germain I guess I know right?)

music is heavily influenced by Eastern and Central and Eastern Europe, and normally enter letters in their references to songs and lyrics of other musicians or countries. However, as he himself admits in a song:
" ... I do not like the false music rock, new wave English, free jazz, punk English or gibberish African "(in the Italian version says" l to Italian techno music "instead of English )
Among his most famous songs is " permanent center of gravity," I want to see you dance "," Nomads, "" White Flag "and clear" Nevsky Prospect. "

has not only dedicated to music. He also has his facet as a painter that we are benevolent, it is quite discreet (see example), but which he has devoted some time. I do not know what gives the painting to the singers, as there are enough of them are also engaged in brush ( Manolo García, Dylan, ...) with varying degrees of success.

I leave you with a video of " Nevsky Prospect," for those who do not may know ...

Lower Back Pain Kidney Leading To Stroke

The Incredible Wonder Woman

But I appropriate the nose for the title of camisetero motto of one of the presentations at the Policy Conference held in Cáceres Lesbian. The Incredibles have various superpowers: Lesbian feminist proud visible (there is nothing). I returned from Cáceres

with batteries recharged and I was not disappointed because of coexisting rolls 150 roll buenérrimo not see every day.

With all the nose back to appropriating a video posted on Picasa by Elena MP that he had to insert code as I do not know of anything or does your email (at least I do not see it) I downloaded it and I hung by pin without permission. But he wanted to show a little of what it was like and I think that Ellen got so the merit is entirely yours.

The bloggers who did a workshop and post their reviews here , here and here. So I would tell you not much new. Perhaps if one is interested in any of the papers There are a couple of them here .

was in no hurry to update and tell my story of the event. Possibly because the reason it enjoys as one of this weekend was totally personal and unrelated to the conference. Long ago I was debating a talk at length and half so we could talk about anything between drinks, concluding that as he said, something is going to be inside you forever, something that I ever left. And it is rightly so, because we value and what we do not deserve less. I like this point we have arrived after all.

the end will be that love is like any other type of energy neither created nor destroyed, only transformed.

Akiba-online Evangelion

School of Saatchi

This weekend I could take some time to see the 4 episodes of "School of Saatchi " (" School of Saatchis "), a program that aired on the Perfidious Albion in 2009. And is that the program is very interesting for many reasons:

basically consists of an" Idol "but artists, in which the prize bottom line is that the winning artist will exhibit a piece in the Hermitage, within which was once the last exhibition of Saatchi . This already makes you think: "Is it in this in what has become the world art, a Pop Idol? ". For those who do not know, Saatchi was one of the founders of the largest advertising agency of the time, transformed into art collector and promoter. Has of the largest art galleries in the world, has a great gallery online (registration is free and you can even upload your amateur work, so cheer up), and sponsors many events annually. Is loved and hated in equal measure, touted as a transgressive art that seeks not remain indifferent, sometimes turning to artists that hardly anyone understands. I am in a middle way: as a developer I think artistic patronage of Koons, Hirst and Tracey Emin has not contributed anything to the art world (and yes some disrepute in some respects - see the latest exhibition Hirst still hear the boos), whereas they have discovered marvels like Jenny Saville, who do deserve the leap to the foreground (in my opinion is always, of course). On the other hand, I think as marketing or financial sponsor, has no rival. Any marketing department would give anything to have it in front.

The contest starts when calling all aspiring artist to attend an "audition" in which they can show their work, which will be reviewed by several experts Saatchi. Thus leaving 12 candidates to be submitted by another work at short notice, to be re-examined. First mosqueo : Of all who are of every age and condition, the 12 candidates are under 30 years: so you know artist friends, if you have more than 30 tacos do not care if you have done a thousand shows, escribáis art criticism in the newspaper most important of your city, or charge you lots of curating exhibitions: for Saatchi not describe. Second mosqueo: of the 12 candidates, only 1 is a painter. All other facilities or make video, I do not understand how Saville has become something Saatchi. No sculptors.

After presenting his works, the 12 candidates are reduced to 6 (the painter is among them, thank goodness). They should make a nude session to see their qualities against reality, a drawing that will work side by side they must develop to earn points and view your progress. Third mosqueo : none can do two lines together at the time of drawing the nude, and that everyone has been (or will) to art schools (except the painter, who is self-taught)!. Even the painter is able to draw the nude. At least one of the facility makes a very nice picture, but yes, pure abstract expressionism in which there is no reference to naked before him, the objective of the test.

New test: Couples should make a work in Hastings (city English coast) to the public, in which he would also vote in a ballot for that purpose. The 3 groups make a setup, of course, some mobile and some not. Saatchi decides that the best work is the least voted by visitors to the town.

Another test: an old English castle, should replace any object they find in him by his work. The painter makes a picture (which is a potato, recognized by the public, experts Saatchi, Saatchi , and servant of you), the plant plants among which are 2,000 cakes of flour stacked on the floor , a pulley that drives a tassel (which ultimately has no movement) books on the floor ... Win stacked cakes, according to Saatchi .

Last race: in the gallery itself Saatchi, each have the space to prepare and present what they want. The painter makes two tables (one very interesting abstract collage reliefs), and the rest ... facilities (a large wooden caravan, a wooden tower to go up a Tesla generator that will fit a wig, two painted wood panels, and a gate with a trunk nailed that one of the girls found on the street, and bought the neighboring community and transported to the gallery.
mosqueo
Fourth : Aunt win ... good 19 years! (The trunk found in the street). Throughout the program experts have been saying Saatchi seems that girl is a "bluff " good ideas for alternative crap (to me all seem crap), well, I Saatchi said it the best by far. Fifth

mosqueo : SAATCHI NOT APPEAR AT ANY TIME IN THE CHAPTERS. Since it is known their proverbial fondness not appear in public, but is a bit too much to a program with your name not remove or far away, it gives the feeling of being all based on a script.

So you know, friends artists: if you are over 25 years, no facilities do not know how to use complicated electronic devices that release sparks (or saws and hammers, as I do), you're a woman, and you're not very good, you have nothing to do in the School of Saatchis (yes, I've had a great time seeing how they prepared their presentations in documentary Bloopers plan, if you want to have a good time, look for the chapters - in inglis pitinglis - and enjoy).

How Much For A Ticket Of Stop Sign In Mississippi

daily Watercolor - preparing the next box Marta

A fitting acuarelilla to go and practice the next work: Marta with 3 bows. The good thing about the format of these cards so small Fabriano paper is that, by not allowing details, go very well for color preparations of larger pictures. In this case I wanted to break the famous rule that warm colors "come toward the viewer" as the cold "left", and therefore the figure should always be warmer than the background, etc etc etc ... A Light Coming From Camera In Flash Cs4

seen lately - Fattori

Reading a book on Italian artists of the mid-late XIX (mostly unknown to the general public against the two French schools, and even English artists - Sorolla - and various American schools), I find this box Fattori, which know everything.

first thing that caught my eye was the subject of the painting: no naturalistic landscapes and scenes so dear to the era: a trooper has fallen from his horse and is dragged by the stirrup while the animal, wild, ride to diffuse horizon. I remembered what a former colonel of cavalry my friend father told us small, while still practiced riding in the Military Academies, "The greatest fear we had was not the bullets or cannons, was to fall from the horse and can not detach the stirrup." I also remembered something else: Goya.

fallen soldier's position and outline some of his paintings that appeared in the book reminded me a lot to work D. Francisco. The position of the soldier because the table of "Executions ..." see a similar position and fallen into invoice. And the rest ... have to see the work of Fattori.

Delving into its history, it turns out he was a soldier Fattori in turn, hence that part of his painting is dedicated to military issues (with which even won a government prize for best patriotic battle painting), although some criticism paints scenes with social or daily lives, in landscapes desaturated colors.

always had the military environment as a goal. When I was young and studied at art academies (born in a modest house in Livorno in 1825) and wanted to join the army in revolt against the Austrian occupation, but his family stopped him. This does not prevent them from participating in the battles of the reunification of Italy, which later declared his disappointment.

Interestingly, his most famous work is created from his 40 years. Is integrated into the group "machiaioli " (named for painting light and shadow shapes surrounded by brilliant color - Machia ), considered by many predecessors of the Impressionists, and develop up to Florence, where the best of their career, encompassing even the aspect of portraiture. Taught at several institutions, and was even master Modigliani. His paintings

manners, far from the large size of their armed cadres are very small tables pasted oil. Most reproductions of the book the show chapped and cracked, and frankly I do not know if it was an effect or result of the passage of time.

considered was a painter in his time, winning many major awards and a member of Italian academies, but almost all his triumphs were with great works of battles. Similarly, over financial problems not being attractive to the general public (despite the recognition of his colleagues), eventually dying in Florence in 1908.
