Mixed - Ursus deningeri

I know that the skulls are the most cliché that you can take one to the canvas, and more old fashioned than anything else, but ... they're so beautiful.
In this case it is a skull of the ancestor of the cave bear, the Ursus deningeri , who lived in Europe until about 100,000 years ago. We found specimens of this bear in Atapuerca, and I've taken from a book that gave me the other day Watercolor Association of Valladolid, in an edition of J. Carlos Díez and José Antonio Rodríguez with illustrations (great, by the way) of M. Anton . As the book is full of pictures of the utensils, skulls and other amazing findings in Atapuerca site, because I dare to paint one of them.

Watercolor, colored pencil, charcoal on Canson 24x32cm.
